Like everything else pruning trees can be an overwhelming task. Here are a few tips to get you started. First remember don't be shy, anything growing inward or downward can be taken out. When tipping and shaping the tree remember you want to take approximately 3 to 4 nodes off the top and never too much. When taking larger branches off you must make your cut close to the truck but before the circular notch.
